Biography
I'm Ervin Zelaya, a portrait photographer based in Houston, Texas, with a background in digital storytelling and media production. My journey into photography was a natural extension of my creative work in the radio and digital space, where capturing emotion and connecting with audiences was key. Today, I bring that same energy to every portrait session — creating images that are bold, honest, and full of presence. With years of experience behind the camera and on production teams for major broadcasters like Cumulus Media and iHeartRadio, I understand how to shape a visual narrative that feels both personal and professional.

My Work
With an editorial eye and a minimalistic approach, I strive to create portraits that are clear, uncompromising, and rooted in intention. My work favors natural light, strong compositions, and color as a storytelling element — often drawing from real environments to build visual narratives that feel both intimate and styled. I aim to capture the in-between moments: a glance, a gesture, the subtle tension that makes an image feel alive.
I’m also the nominee of the 2025 Media Alliance of Houston Social Media Specialist of the Year.
